Stacey Stemplowski

Stacey grew up in the Niagara Region and is strongly rooted in her passions.  She knew from an early age that supporting individuals throughout their journeys was her calling.

After Graduating from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Stacey began her career in Social Services.  She has gained experience from a wide variety of sectors including Domestic Violence, Mental Health and Addictions.  With this experience she went on to obtain her Registered Psychotherapist (RP) designation.

Stacey has a strong foundation in wellness having gained certifications in both Yoga and Reiki.  A core value in Stacey’s practice is to holistically support a person by weaving mental and emotional support in with their physical wellness.  Stacey works within a non-judgmental approach to support  you while accompanying and guiding you through your journey while supporting your goals.

Stacey works with individuals of all ages, couples and families.

Ryan Wills

Born and raised in Niagara, Ryan holds a strong foundation within his community. Having attended Niagara College for Social Service Work, Ryan has spent his career committed to working with people and fostering positive change.

With over 25 years of experience in the Social Services sector, Ryan has honed his expertise in Mental Health and Addictions. Ryan specializes in Trauma, Anger Management, ADHD, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Substance and Gambling Addictions. While also specializing in men’s specific therapeutic approaches, Ryan’s methodology is rooted in promoting individual wellness, identifying barriers and empowering clients to take charge.

Ryan’s expertise extends to providing support to employees through Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs).

Ryan utilizes evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Client-Centered modalities. He applies Trauma-Informed and Solution-Focused principles to establish a safe environment for personal growth and transformation. With a non-judgmental approach, Ryan offers guidance and support in shifting towards a life of positivity and overall wellness.

Rylee Barber

Rylee is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Rylee knew from an early age that supporting individuals was her passion. She attended Wilfrid Laurier University and graduated with her Bachelors of Social Work. She completed her Masters of Social Work with the University of Windsor. 

Rylee has gained experience from a wide variety of sectors including Domestic Violence, Mental Health, Addictions. Rylee has worked with individuals in a  one on one setting, facilitated support groups and psycho educational groups in addition to couples sessions.

Rylee works from a strengths based, and evidence based lens.  Incorporating CBT: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and a Trauma informed approach, is a space which Rylee works from.

Rylee will accompany and guide her client’s through their journey, while supporting their goals, and experiences.

Katherine Castello

As an advocate for changing the standard of mental health care in Niagara, Katherine Castello strategically structured her qualifications to address the gaps she believes exist in our current mental health endemic. Certified in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), Katherine has a passion for supporting survivors of Complex Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD), Dissociation (OSDD/DID), Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and Attachment Trauma.

Through the lens of relational therapy and interpersonal neurobiology, she prides herself in creating an environment of safety and attunement for each client. A Certified Sex Addiction therapist, Katherine specializes in the intricacies of sexual recovery—from sexual anorexia to overt addictions such as porn, masturbation, love, or casual sex and cybersex. In addition, she supports partners of sexual betrayal through a trauma-focused lens. 

By staying up to date on ever-evolving trauma methodologies such as group therapy, the integration of plant medicines (otherwise known as psychedelics) along with the integration of spiritual and faith practices, Katherine aims to provide compassionate, holistic, and hope-focused care through a non-pathological approach to therapy.

Tylor Friesen

With 20+ years of experience, Tylor provides unwavering support to individuals living with Mental Health and Addictions. Tylor takes a collaborative approach, formulating a comprehensive plan aimed at achieving desired outcomes while effectively addressing life’s challenges.

Tylor can assist in the development of anxiety management skills, interpersonal relationships, crisis intervention, building self-awareness, emotional regulation, gaining self-confidence, or other applicable areas of focus.

Tylor’s therapeutic approach is characterized by a nonjudgmental environment to identify the most suitable modalities. Tylor utilizes evidence-based approaches including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed and Solution-Focused principles, as well as a diverse range of practical coping mechanisms.

Colleen Johnson

Colleen was born in the Niagara Region and has been fortunate enough to have been able to live and work here her entire career. She is dedicated to meeting you where you are in life. She has been using evidence-based interventions for over 25 years. Seeking support through counselling is a courageous step and she will be able to take the step with you at a pace you feel comfortable with. Creating a space for you to be your authentic self is her priority.

Colleen offers a non-judgmental and transparent practice. Her years of experience in this field have awarded her the strength in timely and thoughtful assessment of the problem followed by efficient and personalized support.

Rebecca Bufalino

Rebecca grew up in the Niagara Region and has always gravitated towards helping those around her. Acknowledging the barriers families and children face in accessing timely mental health care, Rebecca prioritizes making this process seamless and comfortable.

Rebecca’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in Addictions and Mental Health, and a Master’s in Social Work. She is trained in evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

With a passion for supporting the well-being of children, Rebecca has years of first-hand experience working with children, youth, and caregivers. Her expertise is in areas of trauma, grief, and mental health.

Rebecca values the uniqueness of everyone’s experiences and uses a holistic approach to meet individual goals, needs, and well-being.

Ashley Shale

Ashley has grown up in the Niagara region and has always had a passion for supporting others. Ashley is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She has earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from the University of Guelph-Humber and is currently working towards finishing her Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

Ashley understands that starting therapy can be a significant step towards improving one’s well-being, but can come with its own challenges. Ashley leads by a client-centered approach and prioritizes the unique journey of each individual client. By identifying and exploring your strengths together, we can overcome challenges and foster resilience to achieve a healthier lifestyle.

Drawing from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic practices, Ashley aims to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for all clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Using collaborative methods, I aim to develop strategies and insights that promote personal and professional growth.
