Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families in building lives and relationships that feel more connected, authentic, and fulfilling. She believes that every individual brings unique strengths, resilience, and wisdom to the therapeutic process. Sarah has a particular interest in supporting clients who have experienced trauma, adversity, and relational challenges, helping them draw on their strengths as they navigate the impact of these experiences.
Her approach is attachment-based and trauma-informed, with psychodynamic and relational perspectives at the heart of her work. She integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and emotion-focused approaches, drawing on curiosity and compassion to help clients better understand their inner world, emotions, relationships, and patterns.
Sarah holds a Master of Arts in Child Study and Human Development from Tufts University, where she specialized in Clinical Developmental Health and Psychology. She has completed four years of postgraduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy through the Canadian Institute for Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (CICAPP). Her background in child development, psychology, and psychotherapy, along with experience in school and mental health settings, has given her a broad understanding of the ways individuals develop, connect, and navigate life’s challenges.
Sarah brings this understanding to her work while remaining attuned to each client’s unique story, strengths, and capacity for growth. She values the opportunity to support clients as they deepen their connection with themselves and others and move toward greater confidence, healing, and well-being.
